Restaurant Santo was founded by Jerkica and Franjo Santo in the centre of Bol, on the island of Brač. Today it is still a true family business — their children, grandchildren and relatives carry on the tradition they began together.
Jerkica, the daughter of a fisherman and a housewife, grew up by the sea. Her mother’s famous recipe became the inspiration for a dish that is still prepared in the restaurant today — because some family secrets are meant to be tasted rather than told.
Every meal is prepared by our family with passion, love and the freshest local ingredients. More than just a restaurant, Santo is a place where Dalmatian tradition, warm hospitality and unforgettable sea views come together.
